Robot-to-robot (R2R) communication allows multiple Chef robots to coordinate ingredient deposits on a shared conveyor belt, achieving higher throughput without sacrificing precision. It operates wirelessly, is easy to deploy, ensures faster reactions on moving conveyors, and reduces spillage and missed trays on high-speed production lines.

Chef robots can communicate with all types of food manufacturing conveyors. Using the conveyor companion box, the robots can read and dynamically adjust conveyor speed to maximize throughput and minimize missed trays, deposit ingredients even more precisely onto conveyors while minimizing spillage, and react to sudden conveyor starts or stops without requiring any changes to existing line infrastructure.
